Combustion gasses leaking by a head gasket sometimes make bubbles in the antifreeze. Sounds like you found your problem. If tighting the bolts up doesnt stop the leak you will need a new donut gasket. Sometimes those bolts can be rusted pretty tight some penetrating oil on them over nite will help there
