Default big block shock towers?

hi,
any one know what the differences are between big and small block shock towers on a 67 mustang? i doubt it makes much of a difference which ones i use either way but these are pretty cheap from a local seller. it says they are trimmed so maybe they would allow for more header/spark plug changing room on my 351w.

thanks,
carl

That's a new one on me. I didn't know Mustang offered two different shock towers in 67. Guess they did though.

Yeah, I believe ford used a reinforced shock tower for the big blocks.
