You have a potentially valuable car that you do not really want. Clean it up and fix little things then sell it for the best price you can get. Use the $$ for the car you want.
Ill give you a complete 351 W and a grand for that hipo
Man! I need money for rust repair!!
I need a pasenger 1/4 pannel and partial trunk floor repair...then in need the WHOLE CAR media blasted and some some rust repair around the battery area..
I'm old school, so if you don't agree with me, that's OK. I would restore the car as the K code that it probably is. If you have the paper documentation that it is a K code, that's all you really need. Now, after several years of restoration, you will have a very sought after classic Mustang that will be worth thousands. You won't be able to drive it much, but you will have an American icon. Then, sell that sucker for a zillion dollars, and get a real Mustang you can actually drive, get in a wreck, throw on a new fender, throw a rod, rebuild the engine with available parts, go again.
I agree if you want a daily driver, this car is not for you...restore it VERY GOOD dont half *** anything and resale it for alot of MONEY than you can get your self a nice looking C code fastback
