Default 67 mustang buying help

hello. i am new to the forum and also to buying an old car. i am right now looking to buy a 67 mustang with a updated 250 cu in engine (from a 170 i think) and a 3 speed manual transmission.

i had two questions about this i was hoping to get answers to:
(a) are there any issues with this engine and transmission combo? and
(b) can an airconditioning be installed in such a car, and if so any idea how much it might cost?

thanks for your time.

The 250 6 cylinder is a good motor, you should be fine with it.

Air conditioning can be added, there are many aftermarket kits

www.cjponyparts.com
www.npdlink.com

are just a few sites that carry complete a/c kits.

I'd agree with 68GEETEE on this.
A)No. You should be fine. the 250/3 speed is a good combo.
B)Aftermarket a/c can be installed. There are many kits out there to do it.
Just a FYI-The original six would have been a 200 in a 67. The 170 was only used on the early 65(64-1/2) models.
