Suspension Advice Please
Well I am about to do a front disc conversion on my 66, I am also going to do the Shelby drop, and throw on new front/rear suspension (grab-a-trac). Here is where I need some help. There are power steering stops on the lower control arm but no power steering on the car. Should I leave the stops on or yank em'? Any pros or cons either way? I also have a few extra bucks and I'm trying to decide if I should throw on adjustable strut rods or THESE roller spring perches. Does anyone have any sage-like advice they can throw my way on this? I am going with THIS kit from CSRP for the brakes. I have no desire to race this car, but I do like to jump on it often while using her as a "daily driver".
Thanks
Big Nate

Well I could be dead wrong, but I didn't think steering stops were on a manual steering setup.

Yep, you're dead wrong. See my post above.

See part 2. This tells how and where to trim them.
On the adjustable strut rod question, I think you will be well satisfied with the TCP adjustable ones.

Thanks for clearing up the steering stop bit, I feel a little less dumb now. Let me clarify my other question. What will give me better bang for my buck, adjustable strut rods or roller perches? I only have enough dough for one or the other.
I would say the spring perches becaue theres so much weight on them (much more than the actual weight of the car due to leverage) but I dont have any actual experience with the parts in question, nor do I know anyone who does.
Best bang for the buck...
Well they both make quite an improvement.
I have both the roller spring perches from Opentracker and adjustable strut rods from Streetortrack and I wouldn't want to drive a classic Mustang without either one!
The spring perches really help the suspension react faster and help create a smoother ride.
Adjustable strut rods make alignments a lot easier, especially with the Shelby drop. They also eliminate suspension binding at the front rubber mount with the use of a heim joint giving the driver better road feedback.
Well, I guess roller perches are cheaper $225 vs $320 for adjustable strut rods.
