Default Mig welding help. Problem w/soleniod power

Today I was going to start mig welding on the old 68. I have everything to do it except I can't get power to my argon solenoid. If I plug it directly into a cord the solenoid opens. I tried splicing it into the wire feed power and the power inside the Lincln welder and nothing. Anybody know what I'm doing wrong? The solenoid has two wires coming from it. Thanks in advance!

Never mind, I figured it out. If you take the back cover off there are plug ins for the solenoid.
