craigslist....

its really hard to find that.....anything decent is going to cost you at least 1 kidney and possibly a lung........the equivlently hard part is finding one thats frigging available....

if u find a sixer fastback, u might wanna look into getting it jsut for the body......the V8 swap isnt easy or that cheap but u might find the fastback is overlooked cuz of the engine in it currently....

If you want a Fastback be patient and get it because when I got my coupe I didn't care weather it was a fastback or coupe but the more I was around mustangs the more I started to like the fastbacks.... and now I regret not waiting longer and getting a fastback...

yeah i many anyone in their right mind would rather a fastback, its just most cannot afford like 15k upfront....then still having to pay to restore it....like i bought my 68 coupe with new 302, disc brakes, perfect interior, flowmasters setup....etc for $3500....if u got all that and the car was a fastback...wow...u would be paying a lot.

Fastbacks are a heck of a lot more. The 67-68's seem to be the highest, I guess because of the Eleanor craze, but you be hard pressed to find any model. For 12-15 grand you should be able to turn one up though. I see your from Tennessee. There's a MCA National show the last weekend of the month in Johnson City and I'm sure there'll be a bunch of cars there for sell. You may want to check it out.

I might have one it needs some rust repair, needs pasenger rear quarter, trunck repair, small patches in the floors, needs some work in the engine area as well. Has SOLID frame rails.....not as bad as it seems reall. It has a HiPo 289 and a 9 inch rearend GT packaged disk brakes and all the Good stuff for back then..I need to get 8500.00 for it.
