i recently have been havn a fuel contamination problem to put it lightly. When i removed the tank i poured it out into a bucket and out came rust,dirt, mysterious liquids, all of it amassing into a redish/rustish mixture. Sending unit was covered in rust as was float and all other pieces. So now its time to buy a new tank and new unit, anybody have suggestions on hwere to buy? prices would be nice. thanks.

 

I'm in the same shape. I've been looking around a lot. I think Mustang's Unlimited is where I'll get mine. $122 you get the tank and sending unit and most everything you need to swap the tank. other people get from e-bay. Texas mustangs also have them. I think MU has the best deal.

 

I got mine from CJ Pony Parts, join the membership for $30 and you get 5% discount + a shirt. Not to bad if you need to replace alot on your car.

 

Get one with a drain.
