Default 84' Grand Marquis Engine in Stang

Ok, there's a 1984 Grand Marquis engine for sale right down the road from me. It's the 302 FI. For 100 bucks come the engine, computer, and wireharness. He says he dosn't know how many miles are on it. I was going to FI my 289, but I have no idea howmany miles it has, only that it smokes out of one side. What kinda of power would this have, and how do they differ from stang engines. Maybe I could jsut replace the heads? What about the wiring situation? I already have the intake manifold that I pull from an 87 Grand Marquis to put on the 289, but the only wiriing harness I have run across from an 87-93 stang the guy wants 200 bucks for it. Should I just got with the Marquis engine combo, or just get ECU and Wiring harness from a stang?
