That's what I was thinking. 1k for a kit is alot... I had my shop tell me they could do the front for $500 so maybe I'd just have to take it somewhere. I dunno.

That "Yep" kit looks the best out of all those. But, you will still have to add the new brake lines and the new Master Cylinder and proportioning vavle and get the rotors turned and 30 bux for new pads. So, add a few more hundred. Dennis has a good kit for around 500 bux and it has all the new parts you will need to make the conversion. Check the FAQ for his how-to.

I'm afraid this might be a stupid question but better safe than sorry I suppose. I need at least 15" rims for the swap from what I see. Then actually do the swap including the master cyl. and all the lines. If it's step by step I'm sure I can do it. My question is can I get modern wheels for my car or is there a small number of them out there that will will actually fit? Do i just need one that's 15" plus and I'm good or do I have to worry about anything else? It's not going to be spot on so I might as well mod it and look around if I can.

Oh and thanks for that faq. That looks like a nice kit for about what I was looking for.

So can I go bigger than 15 without mods to the front? will any 15 that fits my lugs work with the disk swap? Would just a little tire shop be able to help me out? Will they even know what I'm talking about?
