You can actually get a fairly decent welder for the amount you have on any one car for $105. It will plug into a standard household outlet. Campbell Haufeld has a stick (1/16 inch size) that welds 19ga to 1/8". Also, you can get a "wire welder" for about 150. E-bay has them delivered for about 60 but I do not know anything about them. Here are a couple links specifically. Whats the worst that can happen, burn a hole in it, like that aint what you're fixing anyway! Screw it up and get someone else and sell the welder back on e-bay. No loss. Good luck.

This e-bay listing is all but constant. There is a new one listed everyday. Some stay at 10, other climb to 60. Shipping is $40. I know nothing about this and have nothiong to do with this. It is simply a lead"

Campbell hasfeld direct: I actually have this one but have not used it yet. I will in the days to come. Got mine new at a pawn shop for 60 bucks!

Harbor Freights in my area has that exact welder on sale for $90 this coming weekend, def gonna buy one and some other misc air tools. Might get the "car repair kit" to straighten some bent and dented parts.

Heard that. My old bones have a hard time bending down to work on the car. So, it's Advil time about twice a day. I still shoot a mean game of golf though.
