how to remove front vent window?
I have a 68 mustang coupe. I am trying to install new vent window rubber. It seems like the best way is to remove the vent window frame assembly as a whole then take out the window. I have removed the obvious bolts (2) and nut holding the window frame, but can't get the frame to slide out. Is there a trick to remove these frames? I do not want to force or break anything, so I thought it best to check with experienced rebuilders.
Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated!

If you have all the bolts out, then just lift up and out. You will also want to replace the weatherstrio while you are in there. No tricks, just a straight forward installation. Drill out the old
rivets, and carefully work the vent window out. Add a little wd-40 to
the weather stripping to eaze the installation, then reverse the
procedure....All your going to need is a set of sockets, drill with
correct drill bit to get rid of the old rivets, and a pop rivet tool to
replace the rivets in their proper place....Figure once the door panel
is off the car, about 25 minutes to take the quarter window bar out of
the door, and another 15 minutes to R&R the weather stripping and
rebuild everything........
