If you are going to spend that kind of money for a brass/copper core rad, you may as well step up to the Giffin aluminum rad.
My radiator IS aluminum...

OOPS, sorry about that Randy. There are a lot of aluminum rads out there, and I just didn't recognize that brand. Aluminum rads are great for dispensing heat, but not necessary with daily driver applications.

Your probably right, but many older engines have mineral buildup, etc an the extra cooling certainly wont hurt... if ya wanna spend a few extra $$$...

I hear ya, and yes if it is an old engine with deposits in the water jacket, then the cooler the water is going through there the better. Assuming the block is clean, then an aluminum rad is not necessary for a daily driver. And, if it is not, then it is time for a block cleaning and an overhaul. I have noticed though, that most modern cars are running with aluminum 2 row rads and with high volume airconditioners, and they seem to run just fine with the heat thing.
