Hi All ! First - yes this is my car. I really know it`s a bit radical, but it`s ok to get some opinions on my work. Pimped ? OK. My intension was to make my car different from the traditional style, so I know there will be many mustangfans out there who don`t like it. Thats ok. In Norway where I live, for the 20 last years the trends have been japanese cars and BMW`s for the youngsters who love cars. The ACCN ( American car club of norway) has become a club for older guys driving cadillacs. I simply try to be a bit different, maybe a bit modern, to show kids that american cars, and especially the mustang should be a target for their dreams.
In the pictures you see the car down on the ground, and it`s not possible to drive it like that. It raises up to 4" in driving modus. The bodywork is made so it`s possible to put on 20" rims, but I tried, and they looked too big. Now I have 19 ", with 265/30/19 in the rear, and 235/35/19 in the front.
Thank you all for honest opinions !! PS The road holding of the air suspension is excellent......

Oh, OK. Now I get the picture. Raise that sucker up 4 inches and it will look like a decent restomod Mustang. Take a pic for us in its' raised position so we can see how it really looks.

I'm not a huge fan of the rims but it's a beautiful car. I think it's awesome that you're the guy in the 'stang among cadis & bimmers. I didn't like the drop at first but now that I look at it some more it's growing on me.

Hello,

This is my first post on this forum.
I have sold a Cobra replica and I am now building a '66 Vert (more practical car the entire family can ride in together). I live Ford and always have. Drag raced for 13 years, always a Ford!
One thing I loved about racing was the people. Ford,Chevy,Dodge it did not matter. We were racers and we would do whatever it took to help a fellow racer. When I started the Cobra thing I noticed people were quick to tell you what they liked or disliked about your car and if it was not like theirs it was wrong. I hated that! It is one of the reasons I stayed away from the Cobra forums. Everyone was quick to be negative or tell someone why they did not like something.

I am sorry to enter this forum in this manner , but, to post " Hey is that your car? I don't like it. " Please tell me your 16 years old and on summer break and you have nothing better to do.

Polar Bear, Nice car! Hope you find the answer to your questions.

Well, BB427, this is a discussion forum, and opinions abound on here. Most of the guys on here give their honest opinion, and if you don't want an honest opinion on this forum, then don't pose the question or show your car and ask for opinions.

I completely understand your point.
Well taken.
I am not here to argue, life is full of other stuff to do that over.
However, the gentleman posted a question " Hi !! Do you know about any other classic mustangs with air-ride system ? I would like to have a chat about settings etc.... "

Soaring quote: " if you don't want an honest opinion on this forum, then don't pose the question or show your car and ask for opinions.

I would have expected the responses if he has posted : " Hi, Here is my car and what I have done, what do you think?" Then you are right on! Brutal honesty is exactly what he asked for.

I'm done.

No argument here either, but he did say he welcomed opinions.
