The guy lives in Norway and he's driving a classic stang, show him some love. It would be pretty boring around here if everybody drove all original cars. A stang saved is a stang saved, no matter what the owners preferences. Just my .02.

Hi !
Thanks for support, opinions and different suggestions ! BB 427- I agree with you, it`s a good thing to be supportive and positive about other peoples rides. Personally I would never be satisfied driving a stock car, but I respect they who do, and I appreciate a good restoration when I se one...I have been driving a bit on the 402 myself, and I agree- out there we stay together and help each other, with parts, oil, gas and positive talk ! In my world there is no fasit of what is right or wrong, we do things different, and that is part of what I like best walking around on a car show. The mustang club of norway has nearly 2000 members now, and on the spring meet there were about 130 cars. Only 1 new, because in Norway the taxes are extremly high on new cars, so a brand new GT over here is about 150.000 USD. ( Yes-it`s true ).
Anyway-in this spring-meet I won the "peoples choice" award and the jury`s special price, so I know some people like my ride.....( And I was VERY proud that day !!)
What are the newest trends in the US these day`s ? Over here we see more pro-custom and pro-street rides made out of classic cars, camaro, chevelle and so on. A kind of "modern hot-rod" style. Some guys are even building engines that run on E85, that is etanol ( 85%), and very efficient.
It is nice chatting with you, most of my friends don`t know anything about cars, so it`s nice talking with people who turn their heads everytime they hear a V8. Just like me !!

That's just not right. What would the classic experience be with out high gas prices and small gas tanks?!
I get the efficientcy part, but man that kills ( not the laughing way the want to shoot someone way) me to think of a classic with an ethanol engine...what kinda power?

Hi ! I totally agree ! Give me the smell of gasoline, and the possibility to visit the gas-station often. ( I love it !!!) . Regular cars built for etanol and gasoline claims about 20-25% more horsepower and about 10-15% more torque when you fill your tank with etanol. In norway the taxes are higher on gasoline, 1 L gasoline is now about 11 NOK, that is about 1,8 USD. The etanol is about half the price.
I think gasoline is for cars and etanol for saturday nights.
I have tried to shrink some pics of my car- i`ll try to attach them.

You have a beautiful restomod Mustang. Regular Gas in the states is right at $280 per gallon right now, but has been over 3 USD last month. When I was in Germany, a liter of gas was about 3 Euro. Depending on the exchange rate, that would be about 5 USD per gallon. We are catching up with you.

Guys,

It is all good here. I recieved a lot of flack when I built billet pieces and installed 48IDA Webers on my Cobra. Some of the "old school" Cobra replica builders. (How funny is that in the first place?........old school replica builders!) told me it would be a joke on paper. 27 months later the car is on the cover and in a 3 fold out centerfold in Kit Car Mag. (July 05 for those doubting minds). What does this mean???????? Build what you want! Drive what you want! Respect everyone else that does the SAME thing you do!

Soaring,
I have a great deal of respect for you. I have gone back and read MANY of your posts. I am sorry my first post was directed at you . You have given a lot of people help on the forum and I am the "snot nosed kid" on this site. Thank you for the kind response.

Thanks,
Brent

Hi !
Yes it`s a JME cluster, with Autometer Pro Comp Ultra Lite meters, in silver. Very nice set-up, and not to difficult to install either.
The cluster is all aluminum, machined out of one piece. Good quality, and worth waiting for....
