A friend of mine is writing a screenplay for Sony studios, they liked an idea he pitched to them. He asked for my help to get realistic opinions from experts on cars. Especially mustangs, so heres the pitch...

If you wanted to build a mustang to go the distance, drive as long as possible without stopping, across the US if possible, what would you put in your car?

Unrealistic idea would work also, like an additional fuel tank, whatever....? Any opinions wanted

put a really really big gast tank in with a 2cyl engine and gear it accordingly. and use cruise control
