Default Early model convertible squeaks

I have herd that the rattles and squeaks from any 60's convertible is normal. But my Falcon never had them until I had new leaf springs put in the rear. The squeaks dont sound like they come from the suspension, its about in the middle of the car and it is literally a squeak. It only happens when the car flexes on uneven roads / bumps and things at low speeds..unless I just dont notice it hitting a little bump in 3rd-4th gear? I've looked under the car and it doesnt seem like anything is loose or rubbing. Anyone know what this is?

Yeah, that is coming from your new leaf springs. Whoever put them on probably tightened up the bolts while it was still in the air. Just loosen the bolts both front and rear of the springs, and lower the car so the weight of the car is on the springs. Use some white lithium spray grease on the rubber, then tighten down the bolts. That oughta' get rid of the squeak.

Yes I think they did. I went down to the shop the day after I dropped it off to see what was being done, and they showed me that 2 of the top springs were snapped on the right side. It was in the air at the time, so they probably did the entire job that way. Ill get out there tomorrow and work some magic that you suggested.
