Default been a while, what do you guys think?

ok, well i was looking around ebay, and i see a 69 mustang coupe with a buy it now for $4500. it is about 10 miles away from me and i just went. it is pretty rust free for tis age, the most rust is a small hole in the trunk, and on the doors edge and a little on the wheel well. it has a 351C that was dropped in in 1992, and new cragar 2/2 rims and wheels.

it ran strong and has 4 drum brakes, but the only problem is, the rear differential leaked fluid and is now empty. how much would it cost to fix that?

pics:

i didnt upload any pics of the front

so what do you all think? deal or dud?

Hellava deal. New interior and a few more things and you will have a good ride. That rear end gasket costs pennies if you do the work yourself. Good find for the price.

Unless the rearend has been run dry for a while, and then you may be talking some more problems, but you can pickup a used rearend for not too much.

Nice ride for that money, the rear end is probably a leak only but as ideal-mustang said you can always replace it and is not very costly and you can do it yourself
