In process of fixing all leaks on car and down to a couple minor ones on tranny. got a 70 mustang with C4 trans. One of the leaks is where the kick down assembly (where rod connects to). Tried tightening bolts and still has a little leak - matter of fact looks like it is not mount flush kind of at angle. Just wondering if I can get that part and and if there is any gotchas in installing it. thanks.

 

theres is a oring behin the lever mounted on the trans remove the lever and go to the parts store with the old or ing and compare it with a new on buy reinstall!
