KYB Gas Adjust shocks
I have no doubt I will notice a marked difference in ride and handling. I have been preaching this stuff enough to know.
But, until today, I didn't think I needed them. Well, now I do. So, in a few days after they arrive, I will be getting dirt under my fingernails.

Hey Glen,
I'm impressed. It almost sounds like you are shying away a little from stock there
Just kidding.
I am looking forward to your drive report. Give it a week or so to break the shocks in, then tell us what you think.
You are one of the few who can have your cake and eat it too. Between your coupe, and the Mach 1, you've got the best of both worlds.

When I did my rear spring, it was a PITA big time.. There was one bolt I could not get out, it was frozen in the spring. Had to use a small cutoff wheel and kept cutting sections of stuff away till I got to the bolt. Took 4 hrs for that alone...

I ain't worried about performance springs and sway bars just yet. My 289 is listed at 200 HP at the flywheel, but I doubt that.
I don't drive very aggressively with Ol' Yeller, so don't need those upgrades just yet. If I want to go fast around curves, etc. I just jump into the Mach. The reason for the KYB's is that when I went to the liquor store which if 4 miles from town today, I noticed it was floating a little at 65 MPH. Yep, time for new shocks. I have already replaced the rear springs.
