Default 1965 Mustang Interior Question

I'm currently in the process of restoring the interior of my 65' Coupe, and I am having a hard time removing the headlight and windshield wiper switches. I was hoping someone could point me the right direction as far as how to get them out. Thanks.

Default RE: 1965 Mustang Interior Question

The chrome bezel (the ring that says "lights" and "wiper") works like a nut or a screw...threaded end goes into the switch body located behind the dash. Put a screw driver in the notch and turn to the left. While doing that, reach under the dash and hold onto the switch mechanism to keep it from moving. For the lights, to remove the push/pull lever, there is a spring-loaded button on the switch body (right side, opposite where the wires plug in); hold that in and pull out on the chrome push/pull lever, it will come out. If the bezels get messed up, you can get new ones. I haven't see any switches supported by additional brackets behind the dash, but I've only had to mess with a couple, so I'm not certain. hope this helps.
