Default Alarm installed

I got one of those 15 buck alarms from Slickman, and installed it today. It took me about 3 nano seconds to put it on, and man......that thing really works. I can just touch the car and it goes off. It works really, really great. Contact Slickman to see if he has any more. You won't regret it, but put it where he tells you and not on the battery. Or, PM me and I can tell you where to put it.

I bet you would

PS: I bought one and am waiting for it, though my car alarm guy seems to feel I don't have enough voltage to have it go off if the door opens.

Just in case I did not tell anyone, after you hit the button it takes a min of 30 sec's to arm. So, you would need to wait about a min before the alarm did anything to protect the car.

It hooks straight up to your battery. 12 volts is 12 volts.

Not the one you sent me. It arms immediately. I must have gotten the pick of the litter, huh?

Well, let me explain why he said that. I told him I wanted it to work so if I left the windows open and someone opened the door, the alarm would go off. He felt (and he hasn't actually seen THIS model, just similar ones) that since my car door would set off one light inside, and other models that do this work on current cars where 4 interior lights go off, that it may not be compatible with my car.
