Got my gas adjusts
The big brown truck showed up today. I got my 4 KYB gas adjusts shocks. The old man will have a project tomorrow.

I just put on the KYB GR2s with a full new GrabaTrac suspension from Mustangs Plus. 620 coils, 4 1/2 mid eye leafs in rear, new control arms, sway bars, tie rods etc. Haven't driven it yet, will be ready this weekend hopefully. I hope the GR2s are much better than the way it was before, all original 40 year old suspension. The ball joints were well worn and I can't imagine 40 year old shocks were still good, although when you pushed down on the rear end of the car it did not bounce like I've had cars before that did when the shocks were shot....new SSBC front power dics too...few more days and it should be ready to drive. Thing was really loose oin bumps and on rotaries and corners it felt like the underneath of the car was going to wash out on me. Talk about overspending, I bought the car and had plans to just do the interior. Turned into about 3k worth of body work (floors and rockers), 1500 for interior, PLUS new brakes (almost another 1500), suspension (900) and now new style steel wheels and tires (900) on the way. Maybe I'm obsessive?
HMMM...good question. I thought there was only one choice of GR2's..I got the ones from NPD. I would have gone Gas Adjusts if I didn't go with the heavy duty springs in front and rear. guy at Mustangs plus told me since my car is basically a stock cruiser, not a speed machine, that the new suspension with those shocks might be too tight for my liking...
