I was just kidding about the coil overs. With a coil over, the shock and the spring are one unit, and they come out of the car as one unit. You then use a special spring suppresor mounted on a wall to separate the two. Our old Mustangs have shocks that happen to go on the inside of the springs, but are two separate units. There have been guys who have added the coil overs to their cars, but I see no need for it.

i shoulda known that with all the time i spent checking out coilover suspensions!!![:@]
well, whatever you got as your set up sounds like it would handle what i want to do, so unless my power outgrows the suspension later down the line, that set up would be fine!

My aged wife tells me I am a PITA all the time, so that's not news to me.

Like I said, I shopped around. The local parts store had the 4 for 225.00. NPD lists them as 139.00, and Dallas Mustang has them for 129.00. That's were I got them, and the shipping cost was like 12 bux. I only live a few hundred miles from Dallas though. I ordered them on Tuesday, and they were delivered on Wednesday.
