Default a few questions

ok, i have a few questions, is there and easier way to tell what rear end i have? i read the FAQs but there has tp be an easier way. it used to have a 302 2V and i have no documentation saying it was replaced. also, i noticed i already have a aftermarket edelbrock carb on with manual choke, there is a code on the side, is there anyway to tell what size it is from this code? and finally, i need front and rear disc brake conversions, anyone bought a kit and have been very pleased with it? thanks.

I used a kit from VAmustang for my front brakes it was fairly easy to install and am very pleased with them. Also they were the least expencive around at $825.00

If the rearend hasn't been changed, just read on the dataplate. If it has, there may be a tag on the rearend that will tell you. I put granada discs on the front of mine. Had about $250 in it all together and am very pleased. I got my spindles for $40 at a junkyard. The new kit from discbrakeswap.com is really cheap though.
