Just finished ordering the sheetmetal for the Mach. The total came to just under $1200.00 including freight. I decided to buy from NPD after doing some research, the consensus seemed to be that they had the best quality panels.

 

what sheet metal did you buy?

 

A driver door shell, outer wheelhouses, qtr skins, trunk drops, battery apron, driver full floor pan, toe boards, driver rear pan, passy front pan and a driver seat pan. It's amazing what you find when you strip a car and blast it. [:@]

 

thats a great deal im to scared to sand blast mine i know underneath its nothing but rust but thats whats holding the car together is the rust. what are your plans for your car?

 

I 'm thinking along the lines of mostly original with some performance improvements. The biggest change will be swapping the FMX for a 5-speed. I'm on the fence on color, the car was originally Silver Jade. I'm open for any suggestions.

 

ive always liked the mach 1 stripes down the sides with a blacked out hood. the body color probally red or a yellowish-orange color. but thats just my opinion. i bet its going to be a beautiful car when your done. what type of engine does it have in it

 

I love the look of a Raven Black Mach with red side stripes, I just think it looks gorgeous. The engine is a 351W with shaker.

Yeah buddy...that with some chrome torque thrust 2's... it doesnt get any better than that.
