I stripped the car myself for starters. The first deal I struck was too have the car media blasted and epoxy primed. He did the whole car (on a rotisserie) and the remainder of the bolt-on sheetmetal for $1300. After the blasting we went over the car together and decided what needed replacing, total was just under $1200. He's going to replace it at $50 an hour, exactly how long it will take remains to be seen. I'm hoping he can do it all in 40 hours or less which would be another $2000. Total = $4500.

I should have mentioned the incredible service by NPD. I called the order in last Thursday (6/8) evening. I Western Union'd the cash Friday (6/9) morning. The parts will be here tommorrow afternoon (6/13). I live in NH and ordered from Michigan, nothing backordered. Simply great customer service. [sm=hail.gif]
