Default Power steering pump pulley

I'm doing an engine swap on my 68 coupe with a 289 engine. I'm replacing every part and component I can with new stuff. My question, do I need to take a new power steering pump somewhere and have the pulley pressed on? The old pump has the pulley pressed on so the shaft is flush with the end of the drive shaft. Will a new pulley installed on a new pump this way line align with the crankshaft pulley? Or do I need to take some measurements?
THANX guys this forum is a lifesaver!

You need to use a power steering pump pulley installer tool, the new pulley is pretty tight going on because that is the only thing holding it in place. Just use the tool and keep threading it on till it wont go any further, you can tell when they bottom out. If the pump is the right one for the car it will line up fine, good luck.
