Default rain leaking in my 66

I havent been able to pinpoint where the leak is, it pours onto the floor by the front edge of the door has anyone else had this problem? I've replaced the rubber seals around the top of the door but thats about it so far, I guess I'm hoping this is common and someone might know.

Sit inside while someone douses it with a hose and see if you can locate the exact spot it is coming in at. Check the bottom of the windshield carefully to see if it may be coming in there, then running down to that area.

I have a cowl leak as well, noticed it last year when it poured and the stupid moron at the body shop left it out in the pouring rain. I have had mine just a month now but keep it out of the rain.

But, it's going in Tuesday morning to find the leak and then possibly fix it. Am I better off investing in that or just putting on the cowl cover and leaving it on permanently?

Maybe it's the same thing mine is doing. There are missing rubber plugs, behind the kick panels. I watched it just pour in from these holes. They originally have plugs but are removed when removing embelms.

Yeah, it's not automatically a cowl leak problem. If it is a cowl leak, then pouring water down the cowl only will tell you that, because water will pour in around your feet. The windshield and missing rubber plugs could also be the culprit. That can be tested by having someone douse the windshield with a hose.

Having it fixed correctly is the better option. The cowl cover does a nice job of keeping leaves and big stuff out, but rain still gets in.
And you may find out it's not your cowl. Could be a lot of different things, as has been posted here.
