In the 64-66 Mustangs only the Convertibles had torque boxes, In 1967 and up they where standard in all models! In both my 1967 Cougar there was only one on the driver side only, not sure if this is true for the Mustangs!

yep, 67 mustangs had only the drivers side. in 68 and up they were on both sides of the car.

here's some pics, first three are the bumper supports. the inner one is the center. and there is a set on the other side also. the grill (unless you mean the "fangs") bolts into th efront clip, there are no real supports for that. the fangs bolt onto the center supports for the bumper. the third pic shows the poll support on the drivers side that was busted off when a garbage truck ran a red light and my friend hit him.

the last 2 are the grill, you can see on the top on the far ends there are the bolt locations and the bottom near the middle are the other locations.

Yeah, there are six on my 65. The two fender supports, the two tubular supports, and the two inner bumper supports that are right above the bumper guards.

do you have pics of the fender supports? are those the things about a foot or so from the fire wall on the outside of the engine comp roughly where the shock towers are?

I read a post saying that 67's only had a driver side torque box. That is the case with mine. It happens to be an early '67. No passenger TB. I thought I was nuts or someone removed a rusted one and never replaced.

Is there any value in adding one on the passenger side? Worth the trouble?

I saw these sub-fram connectors and am considering adding them for stiffness. What do you guys think. Wouldn't they have a similiar effect as the torque boxes?

I added a torque box to the PS of my 67. Just thought it would be a good idea since I was doing the whole car anyway.

The torque box goes under the toe board right under your feet!
