frame rails and torque boxes help!
okay, i know what the frame rails are and pretty much how they should look. now, what i need to know is what the torque boxes look like and how and/or if to repair/replace them if necessary. if anyone can get me some pics it would be very helpful.
oh, and since we're on rails here, i need to replace my bumper supports, i have one that is twisted (p/s center) and another that is broken completely off [:@](d/s side). would i have to go to a junk yard or is there somewhere else i can find these parts? [>:]
thank you in advance.

I got originals on ebay. All 4 front brackets for 25 bucks. Mustang unlimited has them too. 25 for inner support. 10 for outer arm type. Both go together. Not sure which you need but MU has them all.
Torque boxes are those metal boxes welded in behind your front apron. All convertibles had them, and some others had one on the passengers's side. Most coupes didn't have them at all. Here is some reading for ya.

Isnt there 6 in the front?
and soaring, thanks for the link!
In the 64-66 Mustangs only the Convertibles had torque boxes, In 1967 and up they where standard in all models! In both my 1967 Cougar there was only one on the driver side only, not sure if this is true for the Mustangs!
