passenger door
ok so a few years ago a tree limb fell on my roof caving it in as well as screwing my passenger door up. today i worked on my car all day and it still is messed up. i put new guts in the door, adjusted the door, window, vent window, anything and everything there is to adjust i have done. the bottom of the door sticks out 2 inches from the bottom near the rear quarter. i had a body man come look at it and he said the frame itself was bent. im thinking about replacing the door and being done with that problem. i would like a donor door with everything intact off of a salvage 64-66 coupe. noone around here has one and ive searched ebay and cant find one.

RE: passenger door
I would take it to someone to have them check out the frame, if it is indeed bent. Better to have it fixed right than to gimmick it back together. I just had my door post pulled, cost me $200 and all we needed was 1/8 inch on the bottom and the top about half an inch.

A decent original cost about the same as a reproduction, $250-300. Least expensive option is to buy a modestly priced original and reskin it. You will then have a nice exterior and a proper fit.

RE: passenger door
There is one on Ebay right now. Buy it now for $129. That's what I would do.
