RED FORD ENGINE BLOCK???
It says 351W on the Valve Covers on a green sticker , I scratched the paint of the valve cover and there is it was....It said "351W with Catalyst" to my horror it is a post 69 351W. So net horses are now 153...I read somehting that said that the windsors had cleveland heads put on them in 1975...I had to buy sparkplugs for a cleveland, 69 windsor plugs would not fit. So I am now looing for a 429 bigblock or a BadA$$ monster of an engine... Anyone got an old f150 layin around??
Just found out about the engine it is a 69 windsor that had an issue from the factory where the heads had to be replaced and they used cleveland heads on it, the guy has the paperwork for the car showing the issue this was back in 74 when he had the heads replaced with the cleveland heads althoguh he didnt want that to happen... is this a good or bad thing? Does anybody know what it would actually do to the engine and how it will affect the running?
My headers wont fit and it is likely my hood wont fit either with my carb on..Cowl induction anybody?

Check the thermostat housing location. Windsors have them on the manifold, Clevelands don't (and they're bigger all around).
A company used to make a conversion for Cleveland heads on a 302 (Clevor) and produced a special manifold.
