I'm pretty sure it doesn't promote oxidation other than the fact it may expose metal, I'm assuming actually "vapourizes" it to an extent, like alcohol... I suppose a decent example is comparing it to how bleach is to us. It "seeps" beneath the paint, and "lifts" it from underneath (Probably by forcing oxygen into and beneath the paint). That was a fun weekend. I used a brush, and occasionally it splattered on me. Suprisingly smolderingly sexy unique burning sensation best described it. It's a very effective way to get an aerodynamic finish for that desired performance in flight... from a typical dogfight to package transportation. It'll save on fuel.

Yeah, you have to use the thick kitchen rubber gloves and goggles while working with that stuff. Just rinse it with water and a scrub brush.

BTW, i like that sig pic. show's the beauty of your car better, but is that a hoveround behind it? your hoveround?
Nah, that's a John Deere riding awn mower you DA. JonBeast is making me a new sig pic as we speak. So, in the next few days you will see a new Soaring sig pic with both of my Stangs.

I know..... It may not be too many more years before I will need a motorized wheel chair though. Old Arthur Itis from Dallas is starting to visit me.
