Oh, my car runs irradic and dies randomly like that at a stop using regular gasoline. Perhaps try a tank of high octane once. I find the benefits definately worth the price... the engine runs much, much smoother and more effective with it.

Maybe thats it, I had about half a tank and after runnin it pretty hard for 30-38 miles i filled up with 93 octane, no problems after, drive it for a few days and see what happens, Thanks again really apprecaite the replies.

Trust me. The high octane gas will not improve the performance of a 9:1 compression engine. A waste of money.

depends on ur tune but a stock 65-73 small block 289-302 car sould be fine on 87 just listen for detonation using to high of an octane will kill power and reduce mpg

Do what you will. It was a suggestion to try a tank of it to see the effect on your motor. My motor runs incredibly smoother with it, I don't receive less MPG, and so forth. But this motor isn't quite stock.
