Mama got new shoes
My E brake started to get weak on me, so I pulled the rear hubs to find the shoes were almost down to metal to metal, so mama got some new shoes today.

FOCUS! FOCUS!!!!!
JK! but you coulda aimed a little lower!
so what, did you drive with the ebrake on to get them that far down? my first stang (86 4 banger) had metal to metal fronts and minimal rears. what a way to learn how to stop! i guess thats why i'm so good at it. i had that car pull every direction known to man while trying to stop. pulled the rotors and they were grooved out really nice! so, what brand did ya get, nike, adidas, macgreggor?

Nah, they are Promasters.
Yeah, I agree about the focus thing. This old Sony camera is dang near useless. It's hard to see the thing you are pointing at in the view finder, so can't really tell just how focused it is. What camera do you suggest I get?

This is the camera I would suggest. It is great for the price. Espically now. It is about 150 less then when I bought it. The quality and zoom is incridible.

i was going to suggest almost any of the cannon digital (do they still make 35mm? i have one of those old ones where the film looks like a very small pair of binocs!) cameras. not this one specifically, good camera, but i like the ones that are a little flatter.
for what you're gonna be taking pics of (less you decide to go into photography just because) you don't really need anything fancy. i'm not too savy on this stuff, but auto is the best feature. as far as pixels go, you might as well be talking greek

J/K slickman, sometimes I just can't help myself.
You can accually buy a camera with higher then 5 MP. However, unless you are going to print VERY large photos (larger than 8x10), it is useless to get anything larger. Optical zoom is the type of zoom you need. Digital is almost worthless. With digital zoom, the picture is just cropped and resized. This makes the quality decrease greatly and can be done much better with almost any photo editing software. Optical zoom will allow almost lost less zoom.
