Default Shackle bushings?

Im in the process of removing the rear end out of my car and replacing it. After removing the shackles from the leaf springs, Im wondering how you would replace the bushings on the upper part that is connected through the frame railing?

knock it out with an airhammer/chisel, and use a large C clamp to press it back in. Gotta remove the tank sometimes to get the C clamp in there. Also gotta use a board or piece of flat steel to press against.

I wasnt sure if it was there for good or not becuase of all the rust. That looks like it shall be fun removing, since there is metal close by on both sides...

its pressed in there similarly to the way its in the springs. If the frame rail is rusted, it would be a good idea to replace it. It has to be sturdy to hold the rear end under there.
