Thanks soaring! Now that I am getting close to "shell" status, I am getting pretty excited and can't wait to get sound from a structural perspective so I can drop the engine back in and start working toward getting it drivable.
goo gone is great you can also try "sticky stuff remover" by "the fullerbrand company". i found it in the cleaner aisle in my local stop and shop. left gum in the wash and it got all over the inside of the dryer. i sprayed this stuff on and literally wiped it away with a cloth.
