In answer to Charlie 1's question. Front and rear are 5 lug drums. Bought spindels, backing plate, pitman, center link, heavey duty swaybar, drive shaft and 8 in rear from a trashed 65 or 66. Went new with tie rod ends, all bushings, and ideler and reused upper and lower arms. Replaced springs and shock, all brake equipment. Wouldn't mind going disc at a later time when I done with the current series of upgrades, but I've been told that with the 14x6 Styled Steel rims that there are no disk sets available. Any one know different, let me know.

so the link http://www.fordsixparts.com/ looks dead...which is a shame..
yes with all of the stuff going on with ford Mike(head guy at Ford six and ford six parts) has decided to start changing the company name from ford six parts to classicinlines so to avoid the whole ugliness that ford is causing

and yes there r many many people on fordsix.com who know more about these sixes than anyone person would think and they r always willing to help

oh man thanks...NOW i can start spending the hard earned $$$$$!!

after having seen people put modular v8's into classic mustangs, I think it would be a cool idea to put in an Australian Ford 4.0 inline six or a turbo 4.0. they are great dohc engines, and produce loads of power.
FPV Australia/New Zealand is similar to SVT in America, except they make a lot more cars, Ford cars down in the exreme south are very fast, they don't use any 4.6 v8's over there, only dohc 5.4
