Default Mounting Slick's Alarm

well, i want to install my alarm today, seeing as the weather holds up. i wanted to know how any of you who own one of these mounted yours. the important thing to keep in mind (in my case) is being able to remove and re-install it when my coupe is finished somewhere around 2066-ish. any ideas, poss. zip ties or something?

A picture is worth a thousand words. The sticky tape that comes on it is all you need.

They make a putty type stuff for mounting pictues etc. that has sticky stuff on both sides. Try that.

You could just use the tape thats there and get new tape at the hardware store when you're ready.

Mine would not stick with the sticky tape it came with, so my alarm guy used his own and so far, so good.

I figure if I need to remove it, I can simply pull it off, clean the areas, and then use more tape to remount it.

The surface must not have been clean.

No, I watched him wipe it down with alcohol before he attached it.

My tape didnt work either. So i went and bought some 3M double sided sticky tape. Works great! I mounted mine a little farther left and horizontal when looking at Soarings picture. I also painted it the same color as my engine bay so it'd blend in.

My tape stuck just fine. Maybe you mounted it too far left of where I put mine, and it wasn exactly on a flat spot. Why paint it? Why have it blend in? I want mine to stick out that I have an alarm, but me thinks that first of all, nobody would believe a classic Mustang would be armed, and secondly, they would have to have a pretty good eye to see it behind the grille.
