I have a 69 mustang coupe, its in good condition and i guess the best ive seen since im the only year and model in my area..put lemme get to the question. beofre my original engine was a six and i was tired of the engine i swear that car was pulling nothing at all.....lol so i thought that it was time for an upgrade so i went with a 5.0. engine from an 82 gt. but now im getting problems with the engine and as much as i fix it nothing seems to work....but my real question is that ive been doing research on the 428 cobra jets on the 69's it seems that all cobra jet were on fastbacks, mach I's, and boss's, shelby's .. so i was thinking why not put a 428 cobra jet on a coupe? so i wanting to install a 428 cobra jet in my coupe, but i researched some history about the 69 coupe; that the coupes did carry 428 cobra jets. but in order to install this big engine do i have to change anything?? like suspension,??etc anything would help and yes i know there are different types of blocks so what block would be good for me??? and where would i find a good cobra jet??or something i stilll need more info so if would be great if you guys helped thanks!!!
