Default Help-turn signal kaput

Hi guys. My turn signal just went out on my 67. Hazards still work and flash fine, however. I took off the steering wheel, turn signal assembly looks okay. Before I try to disassemble the steering column, does anyone have any ideas? Is there a second flasher unit that might have died?

Also, not only do the turn signals not flash anymore, the turning light does not even come on, which makes me think it's not just a flasher problem.

Any help is appreciated!

THanks.

Im going to go out on a whim, but i think the emergency flasher has its own blinking module. I would check your blinker module first, its really cheap to replace. You can find it under your dash by the air inlet on the driver side wall, at least thats where it is supposed to be on the 65. My blinker went out and i cant find the thing, its getting frustrating.
You might just want to check the fuse too, but i think they ran more than just the blinkers to the appropriate fuse, so unless you are having other troubles, its probably safe to rule that out. But it doesnt hurt to check
hope this helps

there are two flashers inside, i had the same problem in my 67', just go get another flasher at auto parts store and replace it. no need to take off anything but the instrument bezel to change it,

So you do have to take off the instrument bezel! Dang it, i didnt want to have to do that, I'm nervous about it for some reason. But it must be done.

It really isnt hard, just put a shop rag on the steering column and unscrew everuthing and just let it drop, it takes like 10 mins to do, but make sure you can tell which screws go where, you dont wanna mix em up

Emery, it sounds like the turn signal switch. If it were the flasher unit, the Hazard lights wouldn't work.
