Thats what im thinkin about BUT, My car has a factory console [:@] Has anyone done something similar with a console? Do any of yall know if Id have to cut anything? would it fit in the spot the shifter is in now?
I'd also like to see other shifters you guys like, i've only been using jegs. Thanks!

 

my buddy done it to his 65, same shifter. i think you have to cut your console though

 

If you want that setup...just lose the console...the durn thing is almost as big as the whole console is anyway

Do you mean dont take anything off or if i use the new shifter keep the old stuff or what ideal mustangs? I always keep every part I take off of my car incase taht day comes when an original mustang is worth what a hemi cuda is today [8D]

I mean just use the original shifter and console and don't get that thing. No offense, but I just think it looks a lot worse that the original.

i did see a console once that fit between the 2 seats, was black, had the armrest and it opened, had a tray, and 2 cup holders. i kinda liked that.

 

sorry guys but I'm with Emperor on this one take off the console and buy that thing o you might want to rebuild your tranny and put a shift kit in it be for you get on it to hard you might brake some thing
