lower cowl repair
since you guys actually know what your doing when it comes to metal work, how does this look so far? i definately should have used a few more sets of vice grips to get the patch panel more inline with the original piece.

yep,
i was having a bit of a burn through problem this morning. it would have been much easier to weld on if i lined the panels up better and wasn't trying to use up the rest of my .035" wire and just switched to the thinner .025"
the welding should hopefully look a lot better on the other side.

thanks mustangdemon. more pics will certainly follow.
rmodel,
i got a quart of the por 15 yesterday when i got some of that metal to metal filler by Evercoat. so the rust will not be coming back ever.
plus,
the only time the stang will ever leave my garage will be when its sunny out from now on.
