Ford used a whole line of FE engines in their cars back then. The 427 7.0L, the 427 SOHC "Cammer", the 428, the 428 Cobra Jet, the 428 Police Interceptor and the 428 Super Cobra Jet. So yes, the 427 was used in a lot of Fords's cars to include the Thunderbird and Galaxie models. So, to say the 427 hasn't been proven to exist is just not completely true. However, this guy has a 351 2V. So, you and I are just waving our arms and shouting at each other.
We'll see what the numbers are regarding the interior.

Ok answer me this, Had a buddy in High School, about 1976, had a 69 coupe. It was a GT with a 302 and Shaker hood. That was before I knew that the GT option in 69 was rare. This car didn't seem to be modified. Everything seemed to be factory. Does this sound possible? 69 and newer are not my area of expertise.

before this goes to far, some people will point out that the early 1967 Shelby GT500's had a 427, and most 1967 and all 1968 GT500's had the police intercepter 428's....I was stating only FORD Mustangs
