Unless your valve train looks like this:
It is not worth figuring out if it is a real boss or a 302 with cleveland heads
canted valve design.
With that said, 347 stroker kits may or may not easily work with the b302 setup. The pistons would have been cut/milled/measured for use with standard 302 heads and deck height, so they might not work. Also, you current exhaust if you have a regular 302 will not work, the off the shelf intakes for 302 will not work, etc...
Addtionally....little things like 6 bolts in the valve cover help for easier/quicker non-invasive determination for when a motor is NOT a b302 (b302 should have 8)

RE: boss 302/ 302
i havent got the motor yet but i pick it up on wed. for $150
its disassembled and it would probably be easy to check all the things listed for
a real boss or not
if i were to rebuid it how much would i be able to get if i had to sell it
or do you guys think im gettin my chain pulled

Good luck to you!
But I think 'gettin my chain pulled' Is a complete understatement if you are getting a Boss 302 for $150. Hell I would bet even a non usable b302 block would fetch MUCH more then that. If it really is a b302 they need to be slapped! lol j/k BUT... It could be a case of Nice find and many will hate you from now own....... lol!
