Default Torino spindle swap

I have a 1971 Torino with front disc brakes, Can the spindles be swapped onto a 1965 Mustang? I see alot of stuff on the Granada swap but not to much on this. The Hollander interchange book that I have shows that they are the same as 1971 Mustang spindles. On a side subject I read that Mustang spindles provide better geometery then the Granada parts, Any comments?

Default RE: Torino spindle swap

The 71 Torino spindles and associated front brake parts are identical to those on a 71 Mustang. These spindles have the exact same geometry as the Granada's and all other 67-73 Mustang. In fact, the 71 Mustang and Granada spindles are nearly identical in construction. It is the 65-66 Mustang geometry that is slightly different from both of these.
