Default Floor Pan Replacement Advice

My apologies if this has been posted somewhere. I looked.

I have a 68 coupe, and I'm somewhat of a newbie. I'm getting close to replacing all four floor pans. I have the pans, and I've done some of the prep work (carpet, fuel lines, etc).

My question is: what tool should I use for cutting? I was planning on buying an electric cut-off tool. My compressor isn't big enough for an air tool. What about an angle grinder? They're cheaper than the cut-off tools, but look exactly the same. 6500 rpms vs. approx 9000.

If anything comes to mind that I may encounter by surprise, I would be greatly appreciate the pointers.

Thanks in advance,

Adam

Yeah, even a reciprocating saw will make short work of it. Just be sure you replace only one of the pans at a time. You wouldn't want that puppy to fold in half.

I used a reciprocating saw on mine. Worked great. Take an angle grinder and clean the edges up nice.
