Oil Pump Shaft??

Default Oil Pump Shaft??

Hey guys, i just purchased a new oil pump shaft and it came with a little retainer looking thing... Do i put this on the bottom of the shaft going into the oil pump or do i put it on the top near the distributor???

ON THE TOP!!! You don't want to get that one wrong. If you put it on the bottom when you pull your dizzy out, in the future, the shaft could fall into the pan.

haha, that's why i have to replace this one right now...
