WHEEL ADJUSTER KIT
so im still on my brakes and im painting everything and changing everything over. for the front brakes my wheel adjusters do not fit. i tried the rear adjusters and the same thing does anyone have a picture of how this is suppose to be or any ideas of what would cause this
BTY it is a good policy to only tear down one side at a time if you don't have experience with brakes. That way you can always refer to the other side when putting it back together.
the screw on the end of the adjuster doesnt fit to the shoe.i have the front passenger side done with no problem but the driver side the hub seems like it doesnt want to go on and the shoes are adjusted in so there is enough room for them to go on. i dont have pics i have a dispolable camera so by the time i get done ill have pics
Ok bro if it worked on one side and not the other what is the difference in the two sides?. If it worked on the old shoes and not the new shoes what is the difference? I can't answer that question cus I can't see it. BTY the hub is the part with the bearings in it. The part that goes over the shoes is called the brake drum.
I thought we had the talk already. Take the old stuff to the store, open all the packages they give and compare right there in the store. They F stuff up all the time. I hate making more trips than is needed. Sorry about your luck. I will get off of my soap box now.
